  1. Every meal should have a serving of high quality protein
  2. Protein is thermogenic and provides more satiety, when compared to other macronutrients (Carbs and Fats)
  3. Good rule of thumb for protein consumption: 2.2g per kg or 1g per 1 lbs of lean body mass
  4. You will absorb almost all the protein that you consume
